Corned beef brisket in the Crock Pot... lots of water or not lots of water?

I would never put the brisket in a crock pot unless you want to cook it for 3 days. If you do it WILL be rubbery. It needs more intense heat. Bring the brisket to a boil and turn down to a slow simmer on the stove top for 8/10 hours. Save your crock pot for a pork roast.
