How to part your hair?

Okay, so pretty much I used to part straighten and my hair far to the left until like 10th grade. Pretty much all through 11th grade I didn't really part it that well, and I just sort of let it sit there and my bangs just sort of flop over. Anyways I'm taking grad pics soon and I want to part my hair like I used to, but now it looks kind of weird. It used to look sort of like Amy's hair from Secret Life of the American Teenager in the first season (I don't know what her hair looks like now), but the part wasn't as far over as her's. How can I get it to look like that again?
