How do I stop fighting with my little brother?

I'm a 14 year old teen who I guess can be bossy. My brother is 10 turning 11 and I don't want this to go on. Our last fight was about putting the syrup away. I had to clean the kitchen and I told him next time to put the syrup away. He started saying I did, I just threw it out. I said just put it away and he started screaming at me!! Okay so I tell him to shut up and he doesn't. I went in a grabbed his arm and said plz stop im just trying to clean. He started like crying and lieing to my older sister. She told us to both shut up. So i don't know what to do. I'm out of luck and I don't think it's right that I'm grabbing him and hitting him. I just want him to love me and I don't want him to say I'm the mean sister or anything. I Truly love my brother but I need some help in different ways to resolve things. Please, write different things I could do. Bc my options are out!
