Is mcdonalds a good first job for a 16 year old for the summer?

It is an excellent first job. While it has a bad reputation, it's a great place to learn about how to work at a job, how to work as a team and also learn how a large business runs. Take the training classes they offer. Plus it's a very good experience to have if you need a job in college or just need an extra job some time. There are McDonald's everywhere who like to hire people with McDonald's experience. I worked there many years ago and many of the things I learned there have helped me become a successful corporate executive. Good luck and have a positive attitude!
